ATTENTION SPRING ATHLETES AND FAMILIES!!!!

Spring Athletics: Adapted Bowling (Special Education), Badminton, Baseball, Boys and Girls Golf, Softball, Tennis, and Track & Field.  

If you are interested in participating in a sport, please note the following information:

Students who wish to participate in a sport must achieve at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA); an appeal process is possible if a student does not have a 2.0 GPA but is "credit ready" OR has earned a 2.0 in the previous two marking periods. See Mr. Ginther with questions about academic eligibility. 

FORMS TO COMPLETE FOR ATHLETIC REGISTRATION:

1a) Athletic Eligibility Packet  (print and complete ONLY for 1st sport of year)---print pdf from bottom of the page

1b) Emergency Form  (complete this ONLY if you already played a sport at Edison this school year)---print pdf from bottom of the page

2) Physical Exam Form (paper copy---valid for 3 years)---must be completed by a medical examiner

3) Participation Fees: $70.00 for football, $90 for hockey, $60.00 for all others.

While it is recommended you use the electronic forms (Eligibility Form and Emergency Form) you are still able to turn in paper copies. Below you will find paper copies of the Eligibility Form, Emergency Form, Media Release Form, and Physical Exam Form. Paper copies must be turned in to Darren Ginther (Athletic Director) in room 036 OR Faxed to 612-668-1320 OR Scanned/emailed to Darren.Ginther@mpls.k12.mn.us.
