Gay/Straight Alliance



The Gay/Straight Alliance is a group of diverse students who meet in a safe environment to support each other and learn about GLBTQ issues, homophobia and other oppressions. Members are GBLTQ students, straight students and people with GLBTQ family and friends. We will meet bi-weekely for for discussion, movies, outings and fun. All are welcome!

Our Goals:
  1. To create a safe environment at Edison for students to support each other and learn about homophobia and other oppressions,
  2. To educate the school community about homophobia, gender identity, and sexual orientation issues, and
  3. To fight discrimination, harassment, and violence in schools.
