Personal Statement
I have taught at Edison since 1999. What began as a stepping stone to
a career in the entertainment field (I think I am funny, but have since
been told otherwise by many students) has turned in to another
obsession. An obsession to become the best teacher I can. Each year I
spend the summer perfecting my craft and shaping my attitude to make
the students in my class have a more enriching experience. I ask
students in my class to think, learn to express their thoughts clearly,
strive to be the best, and surround themselves with like minded
people. Students should come to class prepared to learn and to
challenge themselves. All courses push students to read complex
literature and learn and practice advanced writing techniques.
