Hello students and families,

My name is Kyle Resler and I am starting my third year with the district.  I am going on my seventh year of teaching with this being my second year teaching at Thomas Edison High School.

I have a wide academic background.  My first college was North Dakota State College of Science were I completed one year.  I then transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Stout were I again completed one year.

From there I transferred to St. Cloud State University were I completed my undergraduate degree with a B.S. in Social Studies Education with an Emphasis in History.  My first teaching experience out of college was in St. Paul.

Because of this experience I felt I should go back to school so I can become the well rounded educator I need to be so I can meet all the needs of my students.  I finished my Masters Degree program in 2011 with a degree in Special Education

from the Univeristy of St. Thomas.  I have continued my education by going back to school to obtain an Education Specialist degree.  I should be done with that program by the beginning of the next school year.

teaching philosophy holds all students to high expectations inside the classroom and out.  I want my students to work hard and to always try their best.  The next four years are very important to a students growth and I feel it
