My name is Holly Siasoco.  I have been teaching science at Edison since 1999.  This year I will be teaching 9th grade Physics and IB Biology.  I have a degree from Iowa State in Botany and Environmental Science.

I love teaching science.  I believe students who interact with science will remember
River Mussel
what they have learned for a long time.  They will be able to apply what their learned to things in their life.  In physics we have learned about the importance of seat belt and the role momentum plays.  How energy efficiency of light bulbs help in making good consumer choices when buying light bulbs?

I live in NE and also assist in organizing students to maintain the garden on Lowry and Central.  Students earn service hours for college while having fun and growing their own food.  Updated information can be found on the facebook page for the Lowry and Central Avenue Garden.

The best way to contact me is email.
