Get Ready for Future Tommie Night!

This is one night you won't want to miss! Cheer on Edison's Boys’ basketball teams as they play the South tigers at Future Tommie Night on Friday, January 23rd starting at the 4:00 p.m. game. There will be student performances, face painting, and contests with a chance to win amazing prizes such as iPad Mini, iPod Touch and iPod Nano!!! All K- 8 graders with an adult ($6 for adults) get in FREE!

The Cowles Center for Dance & The Performing Arts Partners with Edison's ELL Students

Edison ELL students had the opportunity to attend the Threads Dance Project Student Matinee at The Cowles Center on November 14th and will be working work with a Cowles Teaching Artist to tell their personal narratives through dance.

National Poetry Recitation Contest - Tie for First Place

Edison’s level I and II ELL students participated in a poetry reading competition last Thursday and two students, Guledo Dalmar and Hodan Abdulahi, tied for first place. These two students will  represent Edison at the regional competition in January.  Carlos Chima took 2nd place. Congratulations to all students who participated in this contest!

Edison's Wrestling Team Earns Gold and Places Third at Wrestling Tournament

This weekend, Edison's wrestling team placed 3rd out of 10 teams at the wrestling tournament held at Edison High school. The squad had 8 place winners including 4 finalists: Torin Skoglund, Mitch Long, Zach Richards, and gold medal winner Trevor Dailey. Way to go Tommies!
