Future Tommie Night: A Night to Remember

Once again Future Tommie Night was off the hook! We had 400 people attend throughout the evening. Edison High School and Edison Beacons' joined together in hosting this family fun night at the girls' basketball games.  Many Edison staff, students, parents, schools,  MPS district, Mpls Park and Recreation, and community members joined together to celebrate students at this fun family event.  

Edison Black Student Leadership Council Presents Black History Program this Friday!

Black Student Leadership Council is excited to announce it will be present a Black History Program this Friday during Advisory (9:53am-10:23am) in the Edison Auditorium.  All Edison students will attend the presentation.  An encore presentation will be held later that day -- again in the Auditorium -- at 6:00pm.  This evening performance is replacing the one originally scheduled for  February 8th.   Please join us!  For more information, click on the link above. 

Black Student Leadership Council Hosts First African-American Professionals Day

This Wednesday, the Black Leadership Council Students hosted the first African-American Professionals Day at Edison. Students were invited to come and meet over 40 African-American and African Professionals from a plethora of professional backgrounds at the this event.

Edison Black Leadership Council Students Deliver Care Packages to Mother of Beaten Baby

Black Leadership Council Students learned of a mother in need from their advisor and Edison's teacher, John Jackson. They took action by putting together and delivering three care packages to the mother on Martin Luther King Junior Day. Both KSTP and Star/Tribune covered this story.
