I grew up in Small Town, Wisconsin, but have lived in Minneapolis since my beginning years of college. (It was quite the change!) I graduated from North Central University with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education in 2014. Teaching students the art of language and how to communicate effectively is my passion, and I couldn't be more proud that I am able to fulfill my passion at Edison High School.
My favorite thing about Edison is the cultural diversity. There's nothing better than being in a place where all cutures are accepted and celebrated each and every day. We're one big family!
Outside of school (yes, I do leave occasionally) I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my rambunctious nieces and nephew. I also enjoy outdoor activies ranging from hunting and hiking to milking cows. (I just can't get away from that small town feel!) Other things I love to do include baking, travelling, and going to concerts.
