Native American Family Involvement Day Tuesday, November 21st

Edison will be commemorating Native American Family Involvement Day (NAFID) on Tuesday, November 21st by inviting our Native American families to join their student for lunch, learn about our Native American student group and see our new First Nations flags.  We are very excited to have this opportunity to host our families within our school.

Wednesday, October 18 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

We at Thomas Edison High School believe communication between the school, students and parents/guardians is vital for academic success. The purpose of conferences is to provide parents/guardians and teachers the opportunity to discuss students progress. We encourage both students and families to participate in these conferences.

State of the School

Please join us for our State of the School meeting which will take place during conferences on Tuesday, October 17 at 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday, October 18 at 11:00 in the media center. We will share information regarding the current state of our school– successes and challenges, along with a plan for addressing our identified needs. Learn more about our school goals and strategies that will be implemented as part of our School Improvement Plan (SIP). Title I information will also be shared. Keeping our parents informed and involved in the process is crucial to the success of all our students.

How to Pay for College Workshop
Tuesday, September 12, 2017 1:00 PM

MPS is hosting How to Pay for College Workshop on Thursday, September 21st from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Davis Center, 1250 West Broadway Ave. Minneapolis, MN 55411. This is a free workshop and will be led by the United Negro College Fund. Register today at empowermetour.org. Space is limited. Refeshments will be served and childcare will be provided for ages 3-12.
