Edison Named as One of the Strongest Debate Teams in the Twin Cities after their Performance at the Tamar Kaplan Invitational Tournament

Six Edison students, coached by Andrew Lyman-Buttler and Lyes Benarbane, competed at the Tamar Kaplan Invitational Tournament. The team won twelve debate rounds over the course of the tournament. 

Jake Swede, Program Associate, Minnesota Urban Debate League stated, "We especially want to congratulate Paris Cook for coming in first place in the JV Division. This was just one of many strong performances by the Thomas Edison team at the tournament - your school has one of the strongest debate teams in the Twin Cities!"

We also congratulate Margret Ritschel and Moti Benti-Novotny for their outstanding performance at the UMBrooks debate tournament last weekend. They placed third with an undefeated 4-0 record!
