1) Come see me before school (need to know in advance)

2) Stay after school (double check with me to see if I am available)

3) During lunch (must eat lunch in cafeteria and get a pass from me beforehand)

4) Advisory on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (make sure to get a pass from me)

Students were in rehearsal for approximately 8 hours in order to prepare a performance that evening.

Harmony Bridge Program

We are starting a new community outreach program here called "Harmony Bridge". The program focuses on students working together in small groups (small ensembles) where they work on popular tunes such as "The Muffin Man", "Home on the Range", and "Ode to Joy". After much preparation, students perform in their small groups at our local Catholic Eldercare adult care facilities. With the help of Diane Lucas, coordinator of activities at Catholic Eldercare, and founder of Harmony Bridge, Michael Levine. We are excited to prepare a performance coming up on November 8th. Pictures of the performance to follow.

Bagging Groceries

Thank you to all those community members who supported our musicians on Saturday, September 11th at Cub Foods through their monetary donations. We loved supporting our community by bagging their groceries. All funds will be put toward our Spring Performance Tour to Chicago this coming spring.

JAM Fest 2017

Members of our Jazz Band attended the JAM (Jazz Across Minneapolis) Festival on Friday, November 4th at South High School. Students worked with various directors, students and guest clinicians throughout the day to prepare for a peformance that afternoon. You can check out Jazz88 for more pictures and information.
