Welcome! My name is Andrew Skendi and I teach students I.B. World History, U.S. History, and Advanced Placement U.S. History. I have been teaching social studies to middle and high school students in Minneapolis since 1998. Before teaching in Minneapolis, I taught in Barcelona, Spain and New York City. I was born in New York City, but I have been living in the Twin Cities since 1994.  I hold Bachelors of Science in Social Studies, a Masters of Science in International Affairs, and a certificate in Educational Leadership

The goal for each class is to  to think like historians and formulate  opinions by using primary and secondary sources. In the process of thinking like historians,  we will develop perspectives about important historical issues and events.
