Edison's Prospective Student Open House November 9, 2016  
Open House 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m.

Future Tommie Night February 10, 2017 starting at 5:00 p.m.
Get ready for an action packed night of Tommies Boys' Basketball games (5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.), prizes, student lead activities, and entertainment. All Edison students with a student ID and K-8 students with an adult get in FREE. Cost for adults is $6. If you enjoy Timberwolves and Saints games, you are in for a real treat! Take part in fun family activities while cheering on our Tommie boys basketball teams as they take on the Southwest Lakers.

Warm up before all the action by joining us at 5 p.m. for the 3rd annual Holland Neighborhood Improvement Association Soup Art Fundraiser 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. in Edison's cafeteria. $10 adults, $5 students *6 - 18) and FREE for kids 5 and under. Best soup in town!

We offer rigorous courses and opportunities to earn college credit: Advanced Placement (AP), College in the Schools (CIS), Post Secondary Education Options (PSEO), and Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID).

The student body consists of 30 different cultures wiht over 20 different languages spoken. 

Our Scholarship Committee leverages more than $1.5 million annually for student scholarships.

Edison leads the State in going green! Edison's partnerships with the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization,  Holland Neighborhood’s Improvement Association, City of Mpls, LISC, Spark-Y, MN Vikings, Ediosn Community & Sports Foundation and MPS,  not only protects the environment but also provides unique learning opportunities for students. 

The Girls' Track Team won the 2014 and 2016 Class A Girls State Championship  

New partnership with Spark-Y: EASY PRO an urban agriculture program  -  Aquaponics: brings design, engineering and science concepts to the lab-based classroom, school campus, and community sites.

We have small class sizes and one of the lowest student/counselor ratios in the district.

Edison’s Junior Achievement Team won the 2012 and 2014 regional business competition and attended the National Leadership Summit Competitions in Washington, D.C. We are the only MPS high school to offer Junior Achievement and Voyager business leadership programs.

We offer a first-rate arts program that builds vital and exciting music, performing, dance, visual, and theater programs with local artists. 
 
New programming such as Edison Entrepreneurship Academy, offers Edison students unique opportunities in collaborating with peers and local business professionals creating real products and business plans.
