Look at the pie graphs with information about city demographics.  Ask and answer the 5 W’s about the data.

Take notes on a graphic organizer to classify the possible locations for a museum in the city.

Select the location and give 1-2 reasons using a paragraph frame.

 

Write a series of sentences that answer the questions pertaining to choosing the best location.

Write a paragraph justifying your choice of location, using detailed explanations and analysis from the pie graph and maps.

Type thesis and paragraph in lab.

 

document Best Location   --  This will act as our culminating activity for Unit One. This will be modeled and completed as a group each day, however, students will be expected to act and turn in an independent copy at the end of the week.
