Terrell McMoore, 9th & 12th Grade Dean
About Me
My name is Terrell McMoore and I am the Dean for 10th and 11th grade students at Thomas Edison High School. I grew up in South Minneapolis and went to high school at Washburn High graduating in 2004.  I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa in December 2008 in Psychology and Minored in Coaching. I am currently in Graduate School at Concordia University St. Paul and I am receiving my Masters in Educational Leadership this May (2014).

After college I played three seasons of professional football in both the NFL and AFL. After football I was approached by a Minneapolis Public School employee and was asked if I ever thought of working in education. I started off in education as a SEA at Washburn in their SPAN program. I was then promoted to the Lead AE at WHS after six months. After a year and a half at Washburn I accepted the Dean position here at Thomas Edison and I am proud to now be a Tommie!!

While not at Edison, I enjoy coaching, sight seeing, running, laughing, watching TV/Movies, and dining out because I can't cook well!  I also have an identical twin brother Sean and an older sister Bisi.
Why Do I Work at Edison?
I love working at Edison I work at EHS because I love to help young men and women reach their goals. I really enjoy working with teenagers and seeing them achieve at a very high level!!
