The Special Education Department at Thomas Edison exists to serve all students with special needs. Currently, there are 4 special education programs at Thomas Edison:
• Autism • DCD • Life Skills • Resource
Related services include: adapted physical education, occupational therapy, physical therapy, vocational training experience, speech services, and social work services.
It is the intent of the Special Education Department to ensure that learners who have disabilities are identified, evaluated and provided with appropriate educational services. Questions regarding a student's educational needs should be directed to his or her case manager (see list at right).
