Seniors: ACT 4 ALL

Seniors who indicated yes on the ACT-for-All survey have all been registered for the Tuesday, October 20, 2020 test date at Edison High School. Students who are unsure if they are registered to can check this document.

Students should expect to be here from 8:15 AM to approximately 1:30 PM, unless they have an accommodated testing schedule. Students will take all 4 of the subtests (English, Math, Reading, Science) and the Writing Test. There are 2 short breaks and testers will be given a to-go lunch. 

Students should go here for additional information about the ACT, its timing, and how to prepare.

Students are expected to follow social-distancing protocols, including wearing a mask at all times and maintaining 6 feet of spacing from others at all times. Please watch this video for more information about procedures for entering the building.

Fall Parent Teacher Conferences
Wednesday, October 7, 2020 2:20 PM

Parent teacher conferences will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 4:00-8:00 PM and Wednesday, October 14, 10:00 AM-12:30 PM and 1:30-4:00 PM

Parents will be able to meet with teachers virtually or over the phone. In person conferences are not allowed at this time. Conferences will be scheduled 10 minutes per teacher. Some teachers will have other dates/times available. Please refer to each teacher's schedule.

We have three options available to schedule a conference:
1) Schedule your own conference

2) Call the Edison main line for scheduling assistance at 612-668-1300 Press 0

3) Interpreter assistance:
-Spanish 612-668-1307 -Somali 612-668-1413

Virtual Meeting for Seniors and Parents/Guardians

Edison Outdoor Flu Clinic

A walk-up outdoor flu clinic will be hosted in the Edison High School Front Parking lot on Monday, October 12 from 3:00 - 6:00 PM. Flu shots are available for students, families, and staff. All are welcome, including those without insurance. To find more information and the General Consent Form visit the Health Office Website.

Art supply donation drive to celebrate new public artwork in Northeast

The City’s new facility for Solid Waste & Recycling services in Northeast Minneapolis is also home to a new public artwork. To celebrate, the City is holding an art supply donation event that will benefit Edison's Fine Arts Department.
