About Edison Outdoor Club
2016 Yellowstone Trip -- Mt. Washington Hike

Founded in 2014, Edison Outdoor Club provides outdoor experiences, such as climbing and camping, to the students of Edison.  The Club is open to any student, and all events or outings are free of charge.

Our Club has grown by leaps and bounds since 2014. Through Edison Outdoor Club, Edson students have:

  • Sanoed in Voyagers National Park
  • Scaled Mt. Washington Yellowstone National Park
  • Climbed the vertical cliffs found along the St. Croix River
  • Built snow huts and camped in the dead of MInnesota winters
  • Hiked the Mississippi River bluffs
  • Volunteered with the National Parks Conservation Association

To continue providing these opportunities to our students, we need your help.  Up until now, we have relied upon contributions from community partners like Wilderness Inquiry and Midwest Mountaineering.  But as the Club has grown from a few students to over 50, these contributions have proven inadequate.

If you want to support Edison students getting outdoors, please contact any of the following Edison Outdoor Club advisors.
