Architecture Construction Engineering Mentorship Program

Edison has a new after school program available to students who are interested in Architecture Construction Engineering (ACE). Students in this program learn first-hand the entire process of designing and building a project along with information about engineering careers. The program runs for 18 weeks starting in October and wrapping up in March.

Highlights of the program:

•    Seven-out-of-ten high school seniors take steps to pursue industry careers.

•    Almost 75% of students report ACE increased their motivation to attend college.

•    More than $14 million in scholarships have been awarded since ACE founding.

•    ACE gives engineering majors an advantage in their freshman year.

Edison students, Maria Rios, Gala Kruger and Miguel Bordayo, have been working with ACE (Architecture, Construction, and Engineering) mentors this year and presented their proposal for reconstructing the Armory at the U of M earlier this month.
