Edison’s boys’ tennis team has been given the award of Academic Gold State Champions. To qualify for this award a teams' cumulative GPA has to be over 3.75. The range to receive a Silver award is  3.5-3.75. A team’s GPA rating above 3.75 qualifies them for a Gold Award.  The Boys’ tennis team has a cumulative GPA of 3.79!!!

Coach Chad Forde and social studies teacher at Edison stated, “Last year, only five class A schools in the whole state of Minnesota achieved Gold level. The boys are really excited and we get a banner stating, Tennis 2012-2013 Academic State Champions.”  Two of our freshman teammates,  Tou Yia Lee and Fatee Xiong won the conference meet and are advancing to the champion match.
