All staff, student groups and community groups are welcome to use the Thomas Edison High School Facilities.

Facilities available for use are:

Athletic - Gyms, locker rooms, athletic fields

Main Building - Auditorium, Media Center, Cafeteria & Classrooms

If you would like to use some of the Thomas Edison High School facilities, you will need to do the following:

• For the Auditorium, Media Center, and/or Cafeteria - please check the calendar below to see that the space is available.
  
  • It is a good idea to plan far in advance to use the auditorium.
    
    • With a Edison Theatre Department and our community partner - Morris Park Community Theatre, we have five major productions during the school year.
    • Although the actual performances may only take place in a one or two week window - the placement of large sets may mean the auditorium is booked for month.

• For all spaces, you will need to complete the online permit application process. You can do this by going to: http://ebooking.mpls.k12.mn.us/

• Please also complete the attached Equipment Request Form on the specific equipment that you will need, so that we can help make your program be as successful as possible.

Please note that there may be charges for the use of the spaces, equipment and engineer time. Space and Engineer charges are noted in the permit application process. Charges for the use of school equipment and technical assistance are outlined in the Equipment request form.

Staff that are using Building spaces, please email Karl Reinhard at Karl.Reinhard@mpls.k12.mn.us for the appropriate billing codes. Staff is asked to complete the process as well, even if you are using the Auditorium or Cafeteria during the School day, in order to avoid conflicts with other staff or building uses.
