This past March, over 90 Edison students took the Minnesota Bilingual Seal, a language proficiency examination that awards college credits to those who attain high marks.  Multi-lingualism is the norm at Edison, and the Biliingual Seal -- along with the IB language programs -- provides an opportunity for students to show their skills.  Special praise must be given to the students who scored Platinum and Gold Levels, respectiviely earning four and three semesters of college credit.  These students include: Platinum-level winner Amina Ali and Gold-level winners Edwin Alvarado Ortega, Abdikafi Jama, Nesteho Mahdi, Hamzi Azed, Kadra Mahamud, Abdulahi Abdulahi, and Mai Kao Xiong.  For a full list of students who took the exam, open the document below.
