The Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts awarded Ms. Dean’s ELD level-3 class with a free "Dance Without Barriers" dance residency. This ties directly into the ELD curricular unit, "The art of expression" and builds off of our essential question: Does creativity matter?
Ms. Dean’s ELD students had an opportunity to work directly with a professional breaking teaching artist, Jason Noer.

There are only 26 schools selected in Minnesota to receive this residency and Edison is one of them. The cost of this residence is $1,500 and we are very grateful to receive this grant.

Learn more about this exciting opportunity and the positive impact it has on our students.
