Minneapolis Edison eighth-grade ahtlete, Jia Lewis, delivered the only Relays' Class AA girls record-breaking performance this year in 59th year of the Sentinel Relays by sprinting to a gold-medal time of 12.14 in the open 100. Lewis' incredible time eclipsed the time of 12.3 set by state record-holder Heather Van Norman of Windom back in 1985. Minneapolis Edison Jada Lewis also ran a season best of 58.17 wining the open 400. Thre rest of the team featured several Personal Records and did an exellent job of competing.
