Edison hosted the 2012-13 Badminton conference tournament in which all seven Minneapolis Public High Schools competed. Each school picks their best two singles players and their best two double team players. The fourteen team bracket plays down to a conference champion. All four of Edison’s representatives won their first round match. Ka Ying Lee lost in the semi-finals to the eventual singles champion.
Kelsy Dominguez and Mishell Quiridumbay won the City Conference Doubles Championship. They beat two solid teams from Henry, avenging their last year's loss in the championship to the one Henry team. The girls are getting ready for the state tournament that takes place next week.
