Anna Morawiecki and students from her Design Theory class brought to life the art work from New City Charter School's 1st and 2nd graders by turning them into animated GIF files. Animated GIFS with original artwork from New City Charter School elementary 1st and 2nd graders, animated by Edison Design Theory students. This was their final project that was sent back to the elementary students to enjoy. New City Charter School's elementary art teacher, Gia Gifford posts student artwork on Artsonia. Morawiecki and Gifford planned to do a project with animation and thought that these texture monsters would be a perfect fit. Everything was done electronically and even though the students haven't met they know where the artwork and the animations came from and are looking forward to collaborating in the future.
