Congratulations to Vanguard Tech Company for taking 3rd place at the JA Regional Competition on April 20, 2017. Maple Grove took first and Moundsview took second. Edison's team (Abdimalik Abdulahi - VP Production, Brandon Arneson - VP Finance, Max Barnard - President, Raul Lazcano Gonzalez - VP Sales, and Therence Niyonkuru - VP Marketing) by far did the best presentation and judge interviews. They looked and carried themselves in a very professional manner. We were told they were the only ones that shook all the judges hands when they first came into the room to present. 

 

A few judges came over afterwards and congratulated them on an excellent job and told them it was so close, they only lost by a few points. The top two teams automatically qualify for Nationals. JA was so impressed with our students that they invited this team to apply for Nationals in D.C. taking place on June 18-22. Read the article in the Journal  and View pictures here.
