Edison's Junior Achievement team, Northeast Caring Kids, will be representing the Upper Midwest at Nationals in Washington D.C. from June 16 - 19th. Congratulations to Ramon Angeles, Lisa Dhanesri, Precious Drew and Pa Lor for their outstanding achievement. This will be the second time in three years that Shirley Poelstra, Edison's Junior Achievement's Advisor; will be taking a JA team from Edison to Nationals. The teams selected to advance to Nationals are the best and brightest and represent nearly 40,000 students engaged in JA's high school entrepreneurship education experiences from across the country. This team (NECK) has also made the top 3 out of 15 teams competing for the Social Innovation Award and are being interviewed by Microsoft Corporation. Way to go Tommies!
