Lisa Dhanesri, a senior at Thomas Edison High School was the guest speaker at the Achieve Minneapolis annual luncheon on Tuesday, November 12th and had her picture taken with Mayor RT Rybak. She gave a speech on her experiences with her summer internship at a law firm and spoke in front of 600 + people and was very poised, confident and articulate. Lisa has worked for Minneapolis Public Housing, Heritage park, Allianz insurance and Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi through step-up (a program available to Edison students). Lisa plans to study English and then attend law school at one of the following colleges: Carlton, Hamline University or Macalester.
