Edison sent two teams to complete in the Academic World Quest (AWQ) competition that took place on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. This year’s competition was hosted by Ecolab, and presented in partnership with the David Winton Bell Foundation and the World Affairs Councils of America.
This is a statewide competition for Minnesota, in which 43 teams competed. Edison’s two teams of four prepared for this competition by studying a wide variety of world affairs topics once a week since October ranging from NATO to Food Security, International Trade and Finance to Current Events. Team A placed 6th and Team B placed 30th.
