Edison student, Troiana Edgecombe presented her perspective on adult/youth interactions and safe spaces for youth in our city to board members from the Minneapolis Youth Coordinating Board along with board members from Hennepin County Commissioners, the County Attorney, City Council members, MPS school board members, and representatives from other jurisdictions in the city and county.

 

Troiana talked about how her positive interactions with adults at Edison has helped her to believe that she is capable and in charge of her future. Her words and leadership were well received. Many complimented Troiana for being an outstanding representative of Thomas Edison High School.
