Empty Bowls is an event to raise money for, and awareness of hunger causes locally.  Edison students have been working with a Jason Kaping, professional potter in creating beautiful hand built bowls along with helping glaze bowls made by a few local potters.

Edison students and professional potters will donate bowls while local restaurants will donate soup.  Participants come to the event, select a handmade bowl, donate what you can, and eat an awesome meal!  When you leave you take home the bowl as a reminder of how big of a problem hunger still is right here in NE.  100% of the proceeds go to local food shelves and other organizations that fight hunger.

Empty Bowls takes place on Sunday, April 19th from 11am-4pm!  Please consider attending!
