The following students will be working closely with marketing and advertising industry professionals for eight weeks starting in June: Abdimalik Abdulahi, Solana Austin, Jenna Halabi, Andrew O’Brien, Aziza Omar, Torin Skoglund, Emmanuel Taylor, Kenyah Washington, Elisia Webber, and Halay Yang. This is a paid internship and they will be receiving coaching, mentoring, advanced training, college preparation and other support throughout their eight weeks.
Students were selected via an application process after they completed a ten week innovative and experiential marketing curriculum designed to expose them to the world of marketing and advertising. Edison’s amazing Teachers: Shirley Poelstra, Career Experience and Beth Rapatz, Digital Design partner with The BrandLab in their five classes (twice a week) - Career Seminar, IB Business and Digital Imaging.
