On Monday, October 31st, a group of European School Administrators visited Edison to learn more about the Newcomer program (specifically designed for recent immigrant students with limited English language proficiency) at Edison.
The group asked Edison staff about the programs and curriculum we have in place for our newcomer students. They were impressed with our student panel and enjoyed hearing how much our students value
their education and love being here at Edison.
The students talked about their experience as newcomers, school involvement and future goals of attending college and seeking a career as a doctor, social worker, etc...
The European School Administrators arrived in the states on Thursday and have been on tour visiting other schools and agencies. Edison was the last stop and they were happy to end their tour on a positive note.
