In the second installment of the Get to Know a Tommie series, we introduce Mr. Abdikadir Ibrahim, our 11th Grade Dean.  Mr. Ibrahim is in his first year at Edison. He has a passion for helping and serving others because -- and these are his words -- "it brings aspiration of heart and mind."  Well said!  Read on to learn more about Dean Ibrahim.

Please introduce yourself.
Hi, my name is Abdikadir Ibrahim.  This is my first year at Edison.  I hold a Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota as well as a Master's in Science from the University of Minnesota - Mankato.

When you hear the word successful, who is one person who comes to mind?
Simon Sinek stood out for me because of his humaneness and leadership.  I also admire the vision he has for others.  I resonate with his "Start with Why Model."

If you had a time machine, what would you tell your 16 year old self?
Seize the opportunity and treat every moment as if it is the only one. 

If I asked your friends, "Give me three adjectives that describe you," what would I hear?
Honest, diligent, educator.
