Congratulations to Edison's Valedictorian, Tracy Shaffer and Salutatorian, Nathaniel Breiter!  
 

Tracy has accepted a scholarship from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and will be attending in the fall where she will be studying in the College of Science and Engineering.  Tracy has served as the Vice President of the Voyager Leadership Program, National Honor Society Officer, Chess Team Captain and Vice President of Robotics Team. She has also received several scholarships and awards:  Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship, Lorraine Lindahl Scholarship, Norman Borlaug Scientific Achievement Award (2016) and Society of Women Engineers Merit Certificate (2016).
 

Nathaniel has accepted a scholarship from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts where he will be attending in the fall. He was Captain of the robotics programming team and President and Founder of Dungeons and Dragons Club. He has also received several scholarships and awards: Frank Rog Scholarship, Class of 1950 Scholarship, Robert and Gerry Nehotte Thomas A. Edison Scholarship, Harvard Book Prize (2016), and Outstanding Business Management award.

Nathan is a Student Board Member for Friends of the Northeast Library.
  

Both Tracy and Nathaniel are IB Medallion Recipients and Full Diploma Candidates and we wish them all the best as they embark on a journey of excelling in their post-secondary aspirations.
