The mission of the health office is 'to strengthen the educational process through imporvement of the health status and learning of children and youth."  -National Association of School Nurses


Healthy Learners

  • Frequent hand waching remains the single most effective way to reduce illness
  • Students need 8-10 hours of sleep. Promote healthy sleep habits.
  • Good nutrition is directly related to the ability to learn. Encourage a healthy breakfast.
  • Good attendance is critical for learning. All students should strive for a 95% of better.
  • Regular exams with medical and dental providers help to prevent health problems. See you Licensed School Nurse for available resources.
  • Daily physical exercise is important. Limit you child's electronic usage time.
  • If you child has a fever, please keep them our of school until they are feaver free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications.
