Edison is hosting a Personal Project Showcase for all 10th grade students on March 16, 2017  from 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in Edison's Community Gym. These projects are the capstone of Edison's IB MYP Program, preparing them for project management skills they will need in the IB Diploma Program and other advanced courses.

 

Students select a personal project which allows them to exhibit the connections between traditional subjects and the real world, demonstrating their skills of being inquirers and reflective thinkers.  

  

Some examples of projects you may see at the fair are instructional soccer videos, bake sales to raise money for charity, designing a dream house, organizing a basketball tournament, learning how to open a business, creating a student toolkit for talking about social justice, and building a career as a professional DJ, along with many others.
