MPS Board of Education held a vote June 10, 2014 designating the second Tuesday of each October, as a district-wide “Latino Heritage Day”. Latino Heritage Day provides an opportunity for the district and school community to celebrate and engage students, parents and community. National Hispanic Heritage Month is recognized September 15 to October 15.

In honor of Latino Heritage Day, Latino staff at Edison are sharing their story! Edison currently has 132 Latino students. We hope these stories will help you get to know us better and learn a little more about our heritage.
