After moving up from A to AA, Edison Track had an excellent showing at Sections with were numerous seasonal bests.  Section 6 AA is one of if not the toughest sections in the State and Edison girls track showed up. Six girls qualified for state. Jia Lewis qualified in 100 M & 200 M placing 2nd and 1st respectively. The girls 4x100 M comprised of Linda Senaphanh, Britney Martin, Cayliah Rush and Jia Lewis (alt. Shanice Vaughn, Tiana Novack) also qualified for state by placing 2nd. State is next Friday and Saturday at Hamline University stating at 9 am. Admission is $7 for students $10 for adults. Come out and support you Tommie Track athletes as they compete next week at state!
