Nancy Akpan is the newest member of Edison’s coaching team and will be joining Coach Jonathon Rist in co-coaching the boys’ tennis team.  Nancy is from Lagos, Nigeria and shares her experience as a tennis athlete, “I played on the North High School Tennis team, and was a standout athlete. Being a part of a team made a big impact on my life. In 2009, I was certified by the United States Professional Tennis Association. Shortly after that, I worked for a nonprofit foundation for 7 years; InnerCity Tennis. I have coached and worked with InnerCity kids for my entire career.  I’m thrilled to work with Edison student athletes this year and know I will be a positive addition to the Edison coaching team.“
