Miss Mikayla Holmgren, the first contestant with Down Syndrome to compete in the Miss Minnesota U.S.A. Pageant, former Miss Minnesota Amazing, Dancer, student in Bethel University's Build Program, and Ambassador for Best Buddies organization, recently visited with special education students at Edison.

Miss Mikayla answered questions about her everyday life, what has motivates her to be in pageants, and the Build Program. The students got to chat with Miss Holmgren, get a photo with her autograph, and take a photo with her. The students had a great time and talked about it for hours!
