About Me My name is Ms. Schmidt-Kost, and I am excited to be teaching at Edison High School. This is my 6th year teaching at Edison, 8th year teaching overall.
I teach Human Geography and U.S. History. I also teach the Gender Studies elective course second semester. I colead the Edison Gender & Sexuality Alliance through Edison Beacon's Program.
I was born and raised in Rochester, MN. I achieved my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Social Studies Education at St. Cloud State University, and my Master's degree in Education from Hamline University. I am a Stanford Hollyhock fellow in the 2018 cohort.
