Meet and Greet with Edison's new administrative team from 4 - 5 p.m.
MPS Superintendent Ed Graff will be joining us from 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. to meet families.
The Eastside Community & Schools BBQ 3:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., is an annual tradition that brings the community, businesses and Minneapolis Public Schools together to celebrate the kick-off of a new school year. Last year, over 3,000 plates of food were served. “The annual BBQ provides a casual, fun opportunity for students and families, staff, and area residents to come together and build the relationships that ultimately strengthen both schools and our neighborhoods.” View the video of this event at
