Edison Senior Caliyah Rush has been awarded Academic All-State honors from the Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association.  Eligible candidates must be seniors on the roster for a team that made it to the section playoffs, and must have a 3.80 or higher cumulative grade point average for their enitre high school career.  In layman's terms, that means candidates are not only some of the best athletes in their respective school but also have all or nearly all As during all four years of high school.  Impressive stuff!  So if you see Caliyah, please congratulate her on this great honor!
