Seniors Walk Away with Many "Magical Moments" from the Senior All Night Party
Sunday, June 1, 2014 3:40 PM

There was a common theme at the senior all night party…gratitude of having this night to celebrate the end of high school and new beginnings with friends.  Last year, the Tommie Boosters (Edison Parent Group) brought back the tradition that was lost for several years of the “all night senior party.”

This year, sixty-six seniors attended the party. There were also at least 16 staff and 20 community/parent volunteers. This was an amazing night. There were strolling magicians, bungee runs, hula hoop contests, ping pong, photo booth, caricature artists, henna artists, bonfire, and some Harry Potter themed events included such as jelly bean identification contests, "potions" classes, and Harry Potter movies. Students commented as to how much fun they were having and how appreciative they were to parents and volunteers that made this night possible. Seniors walked away with a commemorative t-shirt and journal.

The Tommie Boosters appreciate the many hours of preparation and volunteering that people put forth in making this a successful event. The All Night Senior Party could not have happened without the help of volunteers.
