MPS is partnering with the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota, the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR MN), NAVIGATE and the Somali American Parent Association (SAPA) to provide information about changing policies, legal resources and social and emotional supports available. Attached you will find a poster and fliers in EnglishSomaliHmong and Spanish. Superintendent Graff issued the following statement in support of our immigrant students and families. . Edison has support systems in place for our students:

If students need someone to talk to outside of class they can go to the Social Work (102), Counseling (101) and Collaborative (100) offices. If students or families express a need to understand their rights regarding their immigration/citizenship status or need support from outside agencies regarding their status, they should see their  Social Worker or our Family Liaisons, Christie Roiz-Guevara or Abdi Ogle, in office suite 102
