Tommies vs. Humboldt Highlight Reel

The Tommies improved to 1-4 this past week with a road win at district and section opponent St. Paul Humboldt.  Junior Vince Langley got the scoring going when he caught a slant pass from Junior Quarterback Malik Barnes.  Langley broke three tackles to get into the endzone.  Junior Nick Hodge capped off the score with a tough 2 point conversion run.  From there on out it was a defensive struggle.  The Tommies bend, but don't break defense came up with stops and turnovers at just the right times.  Offensively, Edison moved the ball with ease on the ground.  Junior running back Quindell Perry had 107 yards rushing, including a 23 yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter.  Check out the highlights here.

We will be hosting district and section opponent, Spectrum this Friday at Pete Guzy Field in NE Minneapolis.  It is youth night, so any youth teams entering with their coach can watch free of charge.
